Hello friends! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy and taking care of yourselves while we all cope with major changes taking place in our own lives and all around us. A lot is uncertain right now, but I believe we will get through the current crisis and hope that bits of normalcy will trickle back into our daily lives soon.
I am using this first post to announce the beginning of a new weekly digital concert series hosted by myself, violinist Shannon Reilly, and cellist Katie Weissman – from here on to be known as Menagerie Trio. Starting next Wednesday March 25th at 7:30 PM EST we will live-stream programs of solos, duos, and trios from our shared home in hopes that we can bring some joy to people anywhere in the world who might tune in. The concerts will continue every Wednesday at the same time (7:30 PM EST) and place (wherever you are).
The specifics will be determined in the coming days, but streaming will be via public Facebook, YouTube, and/or Instagram accounts so anyone can have access regardless of your preferred service. Next week’s program includes music from Haydn, Sciarrino, Smith-Brindle, Villa-Lobos, Vivaldi and more so it promises to be a lot of fun!
